Your vacation begins with the TESO ferry to Texel
When vacationing in Texel, the TESO ferry is a must. Operating daily, TESO's two distinctive ships carry passengers, bicycles, cars, and trucks to and from the Wadden Island. Embark on your Texel ferry journey from the TESO terminal in Den Helder. While tickets are available at the counter, it's recommended to purchase them online beforehand.

Aboard the ferry, amenities include a restaurant, restrooms, and a variety of seating arrangements on the upper deck. The upper deck is heated during winter, offering a cozy voyage with hot chocolate and a view of the wintry sea. In summer, the balcony and rooftop terrace are perfect spots to bask in the sun, sea, and scenery.

The ferry's restaurant serves a range of options, from a simple cup of coffee accompanied by authentic Texel cookies or pastries to a full lunch complete with soup and tasty sandwiches. You can also find charming Texel souvenirs to commemorate your trip.

As you near Texel, a prompt will remind you to return to your vehicle, ensuring you're prepared for disembarkation. Once the ship's doors open, simply wait for the green light to proceed off the ferry, and your Texel adventure begins!
