Since January 1st, 2020, we have been the proud owners of Apartment 495. At that time, the interior was outdated and dark, so we gave it a major refresh: new kitchen, flooring, painting, furniture, and mattresses. In March 2023, we installed a new luxury bathroom and toilet. All this to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
We have been coming to Texel with great pleasure for over 20 years. We enjoy the peace, beautiful beaches, and the forest, as well as the charm of the lovely villages. Texel is beautiful and enjoyable to visit all year round.

About the accommodation

Fancy a holiday by the sea? And do you like peace, space, luxury and beautiful nature? The convenience of home, but then directly on the Texel forest and close to the dunes and the beach of Texel (Paal 17). Then apartment 495 in Residentie Californië (a quietly located apartment complex) is an absolute must. This quietly located apartment is close to the village of De Koog and Den Burg.
You will find small-scale facilities here that will make your holiday on Texel just that little bit more pleasant. Add to that the personal service of the Koorn family and you have everything to recover from the daily hustle and bustle and experience the Texel feeling.
This apartment is located south of the village of De Koog (3 km), on the edge of a pine and deciduous forest and approximately 1200 meters from the North Sea beach. National Park Dunes of Texel is around the corner, the beach, the dunes and Ecomare are within walking distance. At Residentie Californië you will find the reception, bicycle rental and a beauty salon
The apartment was completely restyled in 2020, with new floors and a new designer kitchen, and in March 2023 it was fitted with a new luxury bathroom and toilet.

Centrally located
Lovely 4-person apartment is very quietly located near the Texel forest and yet within walking distance of the Juttersmuseum, Ecomare, and the beach of Paal 17. Here you will find a great beach pavilion with delicious food. If you want a bit more activity, you can cycle to De Koog and Den Burg in a few minutes. You can store your own bikes in a covered area or rent bikes.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of Residence California and is accessible by elevator and stairs. You will find a small-scale complex here, which makes your vacation just a bit more pleasant.
